फलक ने देखो ओढ़ ली है

मुंबई में भी धुप ने अब

सुस्ताने की तैयारियाँ कर ली है

ठंडी पवना किसी खबरी के जैसे

सबके कानो में कह रही है

जाने कब झनकती आ जाये बूँदें

तैयार रहो की वर्षा ऋतू ने

अम्बर पे दस्तक दे दी है

The Rain Story

My umbrella got tired of waiting for the rains...



...and one day water, came with the splash...

...and vanished in a flash, leaving behind a lone drop... a very very lone drop :-(

Just like that

Waiting to leave office for the day but its raining heavily outside.

Sipping coffee and trying to count the rain-drops, I was just wondering how many drops of rain will be enough to drench whole Mumbai? Silly? I know.

Another silly question stuck to my dumb-brain, "Why rains always make you nostalgic and throw you in the past?"

The Arrival

…the first drops lay a hand on the feet of the earth with the message of love, happiness, delight and fulfillment leading to the inauguration of communion between heaven and earth

…after a few moments whole Mumbai was bathing in the showers of inexpressible ecstasy

…and everyone was dancing in joy to mark the arrival of most loved season on the earth
